Home Improvement first aired in 1991 and instantly became a smash hit, running for 10 seasons and following the up and down life of Tim ‘The Toolman’ Taylor and his family, friends and work colleagues. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 15 years since the show, finished. Lets catch up on the cast now.


Tim Taylor (Tim Allen)


Tim was obviously the voice behind Pixar hero ‘Buzz Lightyear’ and then went on to star on ‘Last Man Standing’ with some familiar faces.


Jill Patterson-Taylor (Patricia Richardson)


After finishing on Home Improvement, Richardson continued in TV, including a short stint on West Wing.  She has since been reunited with Tim Allen on ‘Last Man Standing’.


Mark Taylor (Taran Noah Smith)


The youngest of the Taylor Brothers, he ran a vegan cheers company for a while. He was recently arrested for a DUI.


Wilson Wilson (Earl Hindman)


The friendly next door neighbour with the good advice who’s face you never saw.  Hindman only had a few minor roles before tragically passing away in 2003 from lung cancer.


Lisa (Pamela Anderson)

Anderson played two seasons as the original ‘Tool Time’ girl before leaving to join Baywatch.  She’s since been on three versions of dancing with the stars amongst being famous for the men she dates.


Al Borland (Richard Karn)


Karn hosted both ‘Family Feud’ and ‘Bingo America’ as well as writing two home improvement books.


Trudy McHale (Megan Cavanagh)


From playing Al Horland’s love interest Megan went on to have roles in a number of TV shows, including ‘The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius,’.


Randy Taylor (Jonathan Taylor Thomas)


JTT has he quickly became known to teenage girls of the 90’s, made a few tv appearances but decided to concentrate on his education. He attended both Harvard and Scotland’s St. Andrews University before graduating from Columbia University in 2010.  He also made some guest appearances in ‘Last Man Standing’ with the gang.


Brad Taylor (Zachery Ty Bryan)

Oldest brother in the family, Zachery carried on acting for a while but now owns and runs Big Wangs restaurant in Los Angeles, while doing a little producing on the side.


Heidi (Debbie Dunning)


Dunning is married with two kids and her last real tv role was in 2006 in ‘Wicked Wicked Games.’  Playing ‘Tool Time’ Girl Heidi was the pinnacle of her acting career.
